Wickedsquad
Wicked Vinyl 02

Listening notes

Wickedsquad's Wicked Vinyl 02 was released in 2005 on Buccaneer Records under catalog number BUCCANEER 02. A two-sided vinyl single, it carries "Lick Dem Down" on the A-side and "Happy Hippy" on the B-side. The release is catalogued under the genres breakcore, electronic, hardcore, and jungle, a combination that situates it within the harder, faster end of electronic music production that was active during that period.

The release represents the second entry in what the catalog number suggests was a numbered series under the Wicked Vinyl imprint, itself operating through Buccaneer Records. Beyond that structural detail, the record's place within any broader discography or label output is not documented here and would require additional verification.

No durations are listed for either track in available documentation. This is not uncommon for releases of this type and era, where physical single formats often circulated without formally logged running times in catalog records.

The four-genre classification applied to this release reflects the blurred boundaries common to breakcore and adjacent scenes during the mid-2000s, where jungle rhythms, hardcore tempos, and broader electronic production techniques were frequently combined within single releases or even individual tracks. Whether that classification originates with the label, the artist, or a later cataloguing decision is not confirmed by the available facts and should be checked before publication.

No additional personnel, recording, or pressing information is available from the source data. Claims regarding sound, rarity, or collector interest cannot be supported and have been omitted from this draft. A fact checker should confirm label details, series continuity, and genre attribution before this text is considered ready for publication.
