Vinylbleu 16

Listening notes

Vinylbleu 16 is a 2025 vinyl release from VinylBleu.fr, issued under catalog number VB16. The record is a various artists compilation spanning four tracks across two sides, operating within the overlapping territories of electronic music, freetekno, and hard techno.

Side A opens with "Tektonic Rituals" before moving into "Fatale." Side B carries "Psychedelic Circus" and closes with "Stare Miasto," a Polish phrase translating roughly to "old town." The sequencing places two tracks on each side, a conventional split for a single twelve-inch or similar format release, though the specific format dimensions are not confirmed here.

The label VinylBleu.fr situates the release within a French context, consistent with the freetekno scene's historically strong roots in France, though the record's geographic scope beyond the label's origin is not documented in the available information. Freetekno as a genre carries associations with free party culture and DIY distribution, and hard techno shares with it an emphasis on high-tempo, driven rhythmic structures, but no claims about how these tracks specifically engage those traditions can be made from the available facts alone.

Track durations are not listed, and artist credits for individual tracks are not available in the verified information. Personnel, production credits, and mastering details fall outside what can be responsibly stated here.

What the facts do establish is a concise, four-track various artists release on a French vinyl label, tagged across three electronic subgenres, with track titles that gesture toward ritual, atmosphere, and place. Vinylbleu 16 represents a modest but concrete entry in VinylBleu.fr's ongoing catalog for 2025.
