Vinyl Loops Vol. 12

Listening notes

Vinyl Loops Vol. 12 is a three-track electronic compilation released in 2005 on the Dance All Day label, bearing catalog number DADVL012. The release appears on vinyl and draws from a range of electronic subgenres, spanning Electronic, Hard Trance, House, and Trance.

The record opens on the A-side with "Tres Chic (Original Club Mix)," running six minutes and fifty-seven seconds. The B-side carries two tracks: "Spiller From Rio" at nine minutes and thirty-seven seconds, and "Ayla (Original Club Mix)" at seven minutes and fifty-five seconds. The total runtime across the three tracks exceeds twenty-four minutes, with the B-side alone accounting for the greater portion of that time.

As the twelfth installment in the Vinyl Loops series, this release sits within a numbered sequence on the Dance All Day label, suggesting an ongoing compilation format dedicated to DJ-oriented material. The presence of "Original Club Mix" designations on two of the three tracks indicates these are extended or purpose-built versions rather than edited formats, a common characteristic of twelve-inch releases intended for club and DJ use.

The combination of Hard Trance, House, and Trance across a single record reflects the sometimes overlapping nature of these electronic subgenres during the mid-2000s, a period when such boundaries were frequently navigated within DJ sets and compilation formats alike.

Beyond the information above, personnel, pressing details, and other specifics remain unconfirmed for this draft and should be verified before publication.
