!K7, the Berlin-based label behind this release, had by 1997 established itself as a home for electronic and dance-oriented music, making it a fitting imprint for a compilation of this kind. The tracklist titles — ranging from the functional directness of "Wireless Intercom" and "Defcon" to the more evocative "Foreign Motel" and "Elastisch" — reflect vocabulary commonly associated with electro and electronic music of the period, though no further information about the individual tracks or contributing artists is available to this draft.

The double LP configuration gives the release eight discrete program slots across its four sides, a structure suited to compilation formats where varied contributions benefit from defined separation. Beyond the catalog details listed here, additional information regarding personnel, recording circumstances, or distribution remains unverified and has been omitted.
