The genres associated with this issue span a notably wide range, encompassing Alternative Rock, Garage Rock, Grunge, Indie Pop, Indie Rock, Pop, Psychedelic Rock, Punk, and Rock. This breadth of genre tags is consistent with the various-artist compilation format, which by its nature draws from a broad pool of contributing acts rather than representing a single artistic direction.

Flying Vinyl operated as a subscription-based service delivering exclusive vinyl releases to subscribers, and Issue 26 reflects the multi-record box set structure the label employed to package its monthly selections. The catalog number is listed simply as Issue 26, in keeping with the series' sequential numbering convention.

Collectors and researchers cataloging this release should note that track durations are not currently documented, and artist-to-track assignments are absent from the available data. Anyone seeking complete attribution details may need to consult the original physical release or supplementary label documentation. This entry reflects only what is presently confirmed in the release record.
