D.J.'s On Vinyl Vol. 4

Listening notes

D.J.'s On Vinyl Vol. 4 was released in 1993 on K.O.L.A. Records under catalog number KOL. 100. As the fourth installment in the D.J.'s On Vinyl series, it arrives as a various artists compilation presented on vinyl and cataloged under the genres of Deep House, Electronic, and Garage House.

The release carries six tracks across two sides. The A-side opens with "Say You're Gonna Stay," followed by "Reflex" and "Juss Hol Bak." The B-side presents "Reel Luv," "Ska," and "Strong Love." Track durations are not documented in available records.

The compilation sits at the intersection of Deep House and Garage House, two closely related strains of electronic music that were active and evolving during the early 1990s. The 1993 release date places it within a period when vinyl remained a primary format for house music distribution, particularly for material aimed at DJ use, as the series title suggests.

K.O.L.A. Records is the issuing label, though detailed documentation of the label's broader catalog and history is beyond what the available facts can confirm. Similarly, personnel credits, production details, and recording information are not present in the verified data and are therefore not addressed here.

This draft is based solely on the verified facts provided. A human fact checker should confirm all label information, series context, and any additional credits or release details before publication. Claims about reception, influence, sound, rarity, or pressing quality have been deliberately omitted as unsupported.
