Dance Opera Vinyl Trip 8

Listening notes

Dance Opera Vinyl Trip 8 is a four-track vinyl release issued in 1997 on the Dance Opera label under catalog number DO 491. The record sits within the electronic, house, and trance genres, and forms part of Dance Opera's numbered Vinyl Trip series.

The release carries two tracks per side. Side A opens with "Dream Universe (Marino Stephano Mix)" at six minutes and forty-six seconds, followed by "Such A Good Feelin'" at five minutes and twenty-one seconds. Side B leads with "Take Your Body" at six minutes and fifty seconds, closing with "At Midnight" at five minutes and thirty-seven seconds. The four tracks total just under twenty-five minutes of playing time across the two sides.

The parenthetical credit on "Dream Universe" — the Marino Stephano Mix — indicates that at least one track on this release exists in an alternate version attributed to that name, though no further personnel information is verifiable from available documentation.

As a compilation released under the Various Artists designation, the record reflects a format common to the mid-1990s European dance market, where label-curated volumes gathered tracks across related electronic subgenres for DJ and home listening audiences. The Vinyl Trip series title itself suggests Dance Opera positioned these releases as format-specific products during a period when vinyl remained central to house and trance distribution.

Beyond what the catalog entry confirms — label, year, format, catalog number, genre classifications, track titles, and durations — no additional information about this release has been verified for this entry. Readers or contributors with documentation regarding track credits, artists, or pressing details are encouraged to submit that information for review.
