Teardrops (3), The
Final Vinyl

Listening notes

Final Vinyl by The Teardrops (identified in discography databases as Teardrops (3)) was released in 1980 on Illuminated Records under catalog number JAMS 2. The record carries genre classifications of New Wave and Rock.

The album presents nine tracks spread across two sides. The A-side opens with "Everythings O.K." and continues through "No One Is Innocent," "Hey Count De Bok Bok," and "Teenage Vice." The B-side leads with "Meet The Teardrops" and sequences through "Some People," "Slow Glass," "Fackin Kant," and closes with "Time To Go." Track durations are not documented in available reference data.

Illuminated Records, the releasing label, was a British independent operating during the post-punk period, a context broadly consistent with the New Wave classification applied to this release. The catalog number JAMS 2 places this record early within the label's sequence.

The title Final Vinyl, taken alongside the closing track "Time To Go," presents a sequencing that appears deliberate in its framing, though no documentation is available here to confirm the circumstances behind either choice. The track "Fackin Kant," appearing as the penultimate selection on the B-side, is notable as a title on a commercially released record, reflecting the latitude some independent labels extended to artists during this era.

Beyond what the label, catalog number, year, format, genre tags, and tracklist confirm, personnel, recording details, and the record's subsequent history remain outside the scope of verified information available for this entry and should be researched before publication.
