Rinus' Garage Feat. Triggerfinger, Admiral Sir Cloudesley Shovell
Passion For Vinyl

Listening notes

Released in 2014 on Artone Records, this vinyl single brings together an unlikely but intriguing lineup under the Rinus' Garage banner, featuring Belgian rock outfit Triggerfinger and British band Admiral Sir Cloudesley Shovell. The release sits at the intersection of alternative rock, psychedelic rock, stoner rock, and broader rock categorizations, suggesting a deliberate effort to unite acts whose sounds orbit similar territory.

The single carries two tracks, positioned on the record as A and AA sides rather than the conventional A and B labeling. The A side presents "The Wall Of Dolls," while the AA side offers "Electric Fogg." The unconventional side labeling is itself a small but pointed gesture, one that aligns with the release's evident enthusiasm for the format as both a medium and a statement.

That enthusiasm is perhaps most plainly declared in the title itself. Passion For Vinyl announces its allegiances without ambiguity, situating the release within a broader cultural conversation about the enduring appeal of the twelve-inch format. The choice of Artone Records as the releasing label is consistent with that framing, given Artone's Dutch heritage and its association with vinyl-oriented projects.

No catalog number is assigned to this release, a detail that may be of practical note to collectors and archivists attempting to document it within a larger discography. Track durations are not confirmed in available documentation and are therefore not reported here.

The collaborative nature of the project, gathering multiple acts under the Rinus' Garage name, positions this release as something of a curated event rather than a conventional band single, though the precise nature of that collaboration is not elaborated upon in the available record.
