Panda Dub
VINYLITMO02

Listening notes

Panda Dub is a French dub and electronic artist whose output has appeared across a range of formats and releases. VINYLITMO02, issued in 2015 on a self-released, not-on-label basis, represents one such vinyl offering, identifiable by its catalog number, which serves as its title.

The release is a five-track vinyl record, divided across two sides. Side A carries three tracks: "Natural Mystic," "Renaissance," and "I'm In The Mood." Side B holds two: "Bongo Dub" and "L'Arbre De Vie." Track durations are not documented in available sources. The genres associated with the release are dub and electronic, which align broadly with Panda Dub's established artistic territory. The French-language title "L'Arbre De Vie" — meaning "The Tree of Life" — sits alongside English-language track titles on the same side, a detail that may interest collectors cataloguing the release.

The self-released nature of the record, operating outside a conventional label structure, is itself a notable circumstance. The catalog number doubling as a title is an unconventional choice, though not unheard of in self-released contexts where standard commercial framing is set aside.

Beyond these structural facts, the available documentation does not extend to personnel, pressing details, edition size, or distribution. Those researching this release should treat the above as a starting point and seek supplementary primary sources before drawing further conclusions.
