Hank Williams III
Brothers Of The 4x4

Listening notes

Brothers Of The 4x4 is a vinyl release from Hank Williams III, issued in 2013 on his own Hank 3 Records imprint under catalog number HC 04 LP. The record spreads sixteen tracks across four sides, making it a double LP by format. The label's self-operated status places the release outside the conventional major and independent distribution structures that have typically governed country and rock releases of this kind.

The tracklist opens on the A side with "Nearly Gone," followed by "Hurtin For Certin," the title track "Brothers Of The 4x4," and "Farthest Away." The B side carries "Held Up," "The Outdoor Plan," "Deep Scars," and "Looky Yonder Commin." Side C moves through "Aint Broken Down," "Overdrive," "Loners 4 Life," and "Dread Full Drive," while the D side closes the record with "Gettin Dim," "Possum In A Tree," "Broken Boogie," and "Toothpickin." No track durations are documented in the available data.

The release is catalogued under multiple genre designations: Country, Country Rock, Folk, World, & Country, Rock, and Rockabilly. That breadth of classification reflects the range of styles associated with Williams III's recorded output generally, though no specific claims about the sonic character of this particular record can be made from the information at hand.

The four-sided configuration gives the release a substantial physical presence as a listening object, and the self-released nature of the record on Hank 3 Records is a documented fact worth noting for collectors tracking the artist's catalog. No pressing details, personnel, or production information are available for verification at this time.
