Francesco Farfa
Serial Killer Vinyl Mix DJ Set 02

Listening notes

Francesco Farfa's Serial Killer Vinyl Mix DJ Set 02 was released in 2004 on the Serial Killer Vinyl label under catalog number trend018. The release takes the form of a CD catalogued under the genres of Electronic, Progressive House, and Progressive Trance.

The disc contains six tracks. It opens with "Complete Control! (Acid Render)" at two minutes and forty-eight seconds, followed by "Perversion (Original Mix)" at three minutes and forty-seven seconds. "Spinning (Original Mix)" runs four minutes and nineteen seconds, and "The Flame (Pleasurefartico Mix)" extends that to four minutes and forty seconds. "Into The Moguda" is the shortest selection at two minutes and thirty-one seconds. The set closes with "Autodisco (Francesco Farfa's Hi-House Remix)" at four minutes and forty-five seconds.

Several details visible in the tracklist are worth noting for the fact checker. Track titles carry variant descriptors — "Acid Render," "Original Mix," and "Pleasurefartico Mix" — suggesting these are specific edits or versions rather than straightforward inclusions, though the source of those versions and their original release contexts are not confirmed by the data provided here. Similarly, the closing track identifies Farfa explicitly as the remixer of "Autodisco," making him a credited creative participant on at least that selection, though the extent of his role across the remaining tracks is not established by the available facts.

As a DJ mix CD issued on the Serial Killer Vinyl imprint, the release sits within a format common to the early-2000s electronic scene, where labels frequently compiled label-affiliated material into mixed or unmixed collections for promotional and retail purposes. Whether this release functions as a continuous mix or a compilation of discrete tracks is not confirmed by the data at hand and should be verified before publication.
