Persona 1 & 2 Vinyl Soundtrack Bundle

Listening notes

Released in 2022, the Persona 1 & 2 Vinyl Soundtrack Bundle (catalog number 8BIT-8173-2) is a box set issued by iam8bit under the artist credit Atlus Sound Team. The release is catalogued under the genres of Pop, Rock, Soundtrack, Stage & Screen, and Video Game Music.

The bundle collects music from three distinct games: the original Persona, released in North America as Revelations: Persona, followed by Persona 2: Innocent Sin and Persona 2: Eternal Punishment. Together, the three soundtracks account for a substantial tracklist spread across multiple records and sides.

The Revelations: Persona portion occupies two sides and includes character themes such as "Elly's Theme," "Nanjo's Theme," "Brown's Theme," "Maki's Theme: Cheerful," "Mark's Theme," "Reiji's Theme," and "Kandori's Theme: Sorrow," alongside dungeon and battle cues. The Persona 2: Innocent Sin section similarly balances character-specific pieces — among them themes for Kurosu, Eikichi, Ginko, Maya, and Yukino — with location and battle tracks, concluding with "Maya's Death" and "Last Batallion." The Persona 2: Eternal Punishment portion spans sides C and D, featuring location cues including "Club Zodiac," "Abandoned Factory," and "Sumaru Castle," character themes such as "Maya's Theme 2" and "BAOFU," and battle tracks running through to "EX Final Battle." The set also includes "Velvet Room: Nanashi Arrangement," a titled arrangement distinguishing it from the Innocent Sin entry of the same location name.

In total, the bundle represents a broad survey of music from the earliest entries in the Persona series, pressed and packaged as a box set by iam8bit in 2022.
