Arroz Con Eggroll
Defenders Of Vinyl Vol. 1

Listening notes

Arroz Con Eggroll's *Defenders Of Vinyl Vol. 1*, released on Endorfun Records, is a vinyl release catalogued under the genres of DJ Battle Tool and Hip Hop. No catalog number has been documented for this release, and its release year remains unconfirmed in available records.

The record carries fifteen tracks across its program: "Bones & Brass," "Basics," "Basics 2," "Funky," "Funksta," "Backyard," "Frontyard," "Planet Beats," "Party On," "Westside," "Bounce," "The Park," "Ethnic," "Horny," and "Classics." No track durations are currently on file. The sequencing of several titles in pairs or loose thematic clusters — "Basics" and "Basics 2," "Backyard" and "Frontyard," "Funky" and "Funksta" — is a structural detail collectors and researchers may find worth noting, though no documentation exists to confirm whether this pairing was intentional or carries any programmatic significance.

The DJ Battle Tool genre designation places this release within a category of vinyl produced with turntablist and DJ performance use in mind, a format with its own conventions around groove construction and track arrangement. Whether this release adheres to those conventions in any particular way is not something the available facts can speak to.

The *Defenders Of Vinyl* title suggests this may be the first in a planned or realized series, with "Vol. 1" indicating at minimum an intended continuation. No information about subsequent volumes has been included here, as none has been verified for this entry.

Researchers and collectors seeking personnel, pressing details, or release dating will need to consult additional primary sources, as none of that information is confirmed at this time.
