Afsky
Sorg

Listening notes

Afsky is a Danish black metal project, and Sorg — the Danish word for grief or sorrow — serves as an apt title for a release catalogued under the depressive black metal genre alongside broader black metal and rock classifications. Released in 2018 on Vendetta Records (catalog number Vendetta 151), the album appeared on vinyl, spreading its seven tracks across two sides.

The A-side opens with "Jeg Bærer Deres Lig," followed by "Skær" and "Sorte Vand." The B-side carries the larger share of the record, presenting four tracks: "Stjernerne Slukkes," "Vættekongen," "Glemsomhedens Elv," and the closing "Oh Måneløse Nat." The Danish-language titles — translating roughly to phrases involving stars being extinguished, a spirit king, a river of oblivion, and an moonless night — are consistent with the thematic territory suggested by the record's genre classifications. The uneven split, with three tracks on the A-side and four on the B-side, is a straightforward structural note for collectors assessing the record's layout before purchase.

Vendetta Records, identified here as the third entity operating under that name, is the label responsible for this release. Beyond the catalog number and year of release, no additional label or pressing details are available in the verified data for this entry.

Track durations are not listed in the available data, which limits the information a prospective buyer or researcher can draw from this record alone regarding runtime or pacing across the two sides.

Sorg represents a documented 2018 vinyl release for collectors and researchers working within black metal discographies, particularly those with an interest in Danish-language material from that period. Further personnel, pressing variant, or reception details would require independent verification before inclusion.
