Umse
Mehr Als Ein Bisschen

Listening notes

Jakarta Records released Umse's "Mehr Als Ein Bisschen" on vinyl in 2014 under catalog number JAKHHV001. The release is categorized under the conscious and hip hop genres.

The record is a single, presenting the title track in two versions across its two sides. The A-side carries "Mehr Als Ein Bisschen (Tourexclusive)" at three minutes and fifty seconds, while the B-side offers "Mehr Als Ein Bisschen (Instrumental)" at the same running time of three minutes and fifty seconds. The matching durations across both sides suggest the instrumental is a direct counterpart to the tour-exclusive vocal version rather than an alternate arrangement of different length.

The designation "Tourexclusive" on the A-side indicates the release was connected to live touring activity, a distribution approach that has been used by various artists and labels to offer physical product directly to audiences at shows. Whether this release was available through any other channel is not confirmed by the available information.

Jakarta Records, the label behind this release, is a Hamburg-based imprint with a focus on hip hop. The catalog number JAKHHV001 places this release within a specific sequence in the label's catalog, with the "HHV" portion of the designation likely referencing a retail or distribution context, though the precise meaning is not confirmed here and should be verified.

The conscious hip hop genre tags attached to the release position it within a tradition of lyrically engaged hip hop, though the specifics of the track's lyrical content are not addressed by the available facts and are omitted here accordingly.
