Logic (27)
Vinyl Days

Listening notes

Vinyl Days is a 2022 release from Logic, issued on Def Jam Recordings under catalog number B0035927-02. This entry documents the CD format of the album, which is catalogued under the genres of Boom Bap, Conscious, and Hip Hop.

The album is notable for its scope. Spread across 30 tracks, the running order moves between brief interstitial pieces and longer, more developed cuts. Several tracks clock in under one minute — "JJ Abrahams" at 0:20, "Aaron Judge" at 0:24, "Michael Rap" at 0:45, and "Nems" at 0:47 — sitting alongside more extended pieces. The closing track, "Sayonara," runs 10:04, making it the longest selection on the record by a considerable margin. "Therapy Music" at 4:23 and the title track "Vinyl Days" at 4:43 also represent some of the album's more substantial running times.

The tracklist contains a number of titles that appear to reference real individuals and cultural figures — "Tony Revolori," "Nardwuar," "Orville," and "Aaron Judge" among them — though the nature of those references is not confirmed by the data on hand and should be verified before publication.

The artist credit reads Logic (27), the parenthetical figure likely warranting a note for disambiguation purposes on the site's artist page. Collectors and researchers should confirm whether additional formats were issued under the same catalog number or whether B0035927-02 pertains exclusively to this CD pressing.
