Inon Zur
Fallout 4 (Special Edition Vinyl Soundtrack)

Listening notes

Spacelab9 released this special edition vinyl soundtrack to Inon Zur's score for Fallout 4 in 2016 under catalog number SL9-2032-1-0. The release falls within the soundtrack, stage and screen, and video game music genres, placing it among a growing body of physical media dedicated to preserving game scores outside of their original context.

The program spans two sides and runs to eight tracks. Side A opens with the "Fallout 4 Main Theme" at just over three minutes before moving into "Brightness Calling," which at nearly five minutes is one of the longer selections on the record. "Rebuild, Renew" follows as the longest single track on the release at six minutes and eleven seconds, closing out the side with "The Vigilant" at three and a half minutes. Side B begins with "The Last Mariner," the second longest track at five minutes and twenty-four seconds, and continues through "Liberty Lives," "Covert Action," and "Science & Secrecy," which closes the record at just under four minutes. The eight tracks together total roughly thirty-four minutes of music across the two sides.

The track titles suggest a score built around themes of survival, reconstruction, and institutional conflict — language consistent with the setting of the Fallout series — though any specific claim about the music's content or character would go beyond what can be confirmed from the available information alone.
