DJ Sprinkles
Queerifications & Ruins Vinyl Sampler 3

Listening notes

DJ Sprinkles, the recording alias of artist Terre Thaemlitz, has maintained a distinct presence within deep house and electronic music through a body of work that refuses easy categorization. Released in 2013 on Mule Musiq, "Queerifications & Ruins Vinyl Sampler 3" carries the catalog number mule musiq 164 and represents one entry in a sampler series drawing from the broader "Queerifications & Ruins" project associated with that alias.

The release is a single vinyl record containing two tracks. The A-side presents "Letter Of Intent (Sprinkles' Post Script)," while the B-side offers "Low Point On High Ground (Rock Bottom Mix)." The parenthetical subtitles are worth noting: "Post Script" and "Rock Bottom Mix" suggest these are variant versions of tracks existing elsewhere in the project's catalogue, though the nature and extent of those differences are not documented here. The titles themselves carry a rhetorical and emotional directness that fits within the thematic territory DJ Sprinkles has occupied across related releases.

Mule Musiq is a Japanese label with an established history of releasing deep house and electronic material, and its relationship with DJ Sprinkles spans multiple releases. The "Queerifications & Ruins" series, of which this sampler is the third vinyl instalment, sits within that ongoing association between artist and label.

No track durations are documented for either side of this release. Beyond its genre classifications of deep house and electronic, and the basic release data confirmed above, further specifics regarding personnel, production context, or pressing details are not available for verification at this time.
