How to integrate ClickUp and Slack

First, download the latest version of ClickUp to your phone or as an Extension to your computer. Sign in to ClickUp and then add the extension to your computer.

How to add Slack messages into ClickUp tasks

Remember that Who can only receive slack notifications for tasks distributed across multiple Lists if the Task’s preliminary list is in the selected location. Tasks from multiple Lists won’t create Slack notifications unless their home List is in the chosen location.

Allow personal Slack notifications.

You can also customize your Slack notifications. This process is the same as enabling general Slack notifications. To customize your Slack alerts:

  1. Click on the workspace avatar in the lower left corner to access the dropdown menu.
  2. To allow them to, click the sidebar Slack Notifications.
  3. Choose a Work Area.
  4. Optional: Select a folder and list of files.
  5. Choose the Slack channel where you wish to publish notification messages.
  6. Click the settings menu to change the types of notifications.
