Using iPhone or iPad
Open configuration. It’s a gray app with a gear (⚙️), usually on your home screen.
Click Sign in to (device) . It’s at the top of the Settings menu.
If you’re already signed in to your device and your name appears at the top, clicking your name will take you to a page with your email address below your name. This email address is your Apple ID.
If you’re running an older version of iOS, tap iCloud instead and make sure you’re signed in to your device at the top. When you sign in, you’ll see your email address below your name. This email address is your Apple ID.

Please enter your information. Enter your first and last name and email address in the labeled fields.
Click Next . It’s in the top right corner.
Please enter your phone number. Enter the phone number associated with your Apple ID that ends with the last two digits displayed on the screen.
Click Next . It’s in the top right corner.
Tap Reset using your phone number . You can find it at the bottom of the screen.
A verification code will be sent to your number via text message. If the verification code is not automatically entered, enter it on the screen and click Next .

Please enter a password. Enter the password you use to unlock your phone screen.
Please enter a new password. Enter your password in the space labeled and retype it on the next line.
The password must be at least 8 characters (including numbers, upper and lower case letters) with no spaces. Also, it can’t contain three consecutive characters (ggg), which is an old Apple ID or password that you used last year.
Click Next . The button is in the upper right corner of the screen.
Click OK . If you’re not automatically signed into iCloud, enter your new password in the field labeled.
Your Apple ID is displayed in the field “Apple ID.”.
Click Sign In . The button is in the upper right corner of the screen.

Enter your iPhone passcode. This is the unlock code you generated when you set up your device.
Integrate your data. Tap Merge to merge calendars, reminders, contacts, notes, or other data already stored on iPhone with your iCloud account . If not, click Don’t Merge .

Open the Apple menu. Just click on the black Apple icon in the top left corner of the screen.

Click ifforgot.apple.com. In the text of the dialog box, or type iforgot.apple.com in your browser.
Please enter your information. You will need to enter your first and last name and the email address associated with your Apple ID. You can also enter your old email address, but it is not required.
When you have finished filling out the form, click ” Next “.
Your Apple ID is most likely your current email address.
Check your date of birth. You must enter your date of birth to continue using your Apple ID.
Choose how to recover your Apple ID. You will be given two options to retrieve your Apple ID. You can receive your login information by email or answer two security questions and view them in your browser.
If you choose to have information sent to your email, it will be sent to your current email address and to another email address associated with your account.
If you choose to answer your security question, you’ll see the two questions you set up when you originally created your identity.
Reset your password. If you choose to answer your security questions, your Apple ID will be displayed on the next page. You will be prompted to create a new password for your Apple ID. When you request to retrieve your Apple ID via email, you will receive an email with a link to reset your password. The email address you received the message from is your Apple ID.
